2006 Dirt Devils 10 and Under Team
Fall Frenzy, Troy
The 10U Dirt Devils claimed the championship of the 8-team Troy Fall Frenzy Tournament. The Dirt Devils started their winning ways in pool play with a 6-5 victory over the BamaBabes of Montgomery and a hard fought 2-1 win over the Prattville Thunder. In single elimination play, they dispatched the Wakula, Florida Wave 8-1, the Dothan Patriots 1-0, and, in the championship game, the Pratville Thunder 2-0. Britne provided a stellar performance on the mound, recording 35 strikeouts in 16 innings. Meridith was tops at the plate with a triple, two doubles and two singles. Taylor added one double and three singles. Haley had three singles and Reid added a double and single.
